B.A.A. offers baseball programs for children ages five (5) (as of Sept 1st) through Grade 12. Information for each league can be viewed below table. A typical seasons starts in May and ends in late July. The fees for in-house baseball are $55 for Mini-Mite and Instructional, $80 for Mite through Bantam and $95 for Majors. Rainouts will be posted on the weather page. Games are usually not called off until late in the day. For our baseball program, volunteers are needed as coaches, asst coaches, scorekeepers, some umpiring at the younger levels. Check in at sign-ups!

MINI-MITES is open to all children who are age five as of September 1st of each year. There are no recorded scores or tournaments for this league. Mini-mites is coach pitched but a tee may be used. The fundamentals of running the bases and player positions are introduced. Mini-mites play on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10am. The fee is $55. Parent must remain on-site with child during instruction and games. Rainouts will not be made up. Every child receives hat, shirt and end of season medal. Each child receives up to five pitches from adult pitcher. After the 5th unhit pitch, the batter will hit the ball off a tee
INSTRUCTIONAL is open to all children in kindergarten and 1st grade. There are no recorded scores, standings, or tournaments for this league. Instructional is coach pitch. Leagues are Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday nights. A few weekend games may be scheduled.(due to rain-outs). All players bat during the inning regardless of the number of outs. Eleven children will play in the field at one time. The fundamentals of running the bases, player positions, batting, fielding and teamwork are introduced.
MITE LEAGUE is open to all children in grades 1st and 2nd.(1st graders may choose the instructional league if new to the game). Mite league is coach pitch from a distance of 40 feet. Standings are recorded & a season end tournament is played. Mite League plays weekday evenings, either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday with a few weekends games.
CUB LEAGUE is open to all children in grades 3 and 4. Cub league is player pitch. Standings are recorded and a season ending tournament is played. Cub League plays weekday evenings with occasional weekends games. Leagues are Mon/Weds or Tues/Thurs.
MIDGET LEAGUE is open to all children in 5th and 6th grade. Midget league is player pitch. Standings are recorded and a season end tournament is played. Midget League plays weekday evenings with a few weekend games.
BANTAM LEAGUE is open to all youth in grades 7th and 8th. Bantam league is player pitch. Standings are recorded and a season end tournament is played. Bantam League plays Tuesday/Thursday with an occasional Sunday night game.
MAJORS PROGRAM (Current 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Graders) The Majors program will a Monday/Wednesday league, with the possiblity of some Sunday night games. Coaches will call players the 2nd weekend in May and the practices will start on May 12th. The regulation game is seven innings.
